Mark Freeman
I was once told that real photographers shoot black and white, eat sushi,
and drink scotch. I used to follow this to the bone, believed it in my heart.
But then one day something changed. I was liberated.
Freed from the shackles of the dark, red lights and toxic baths; the confines
of ISO, tungsten, daylight, inferred, colour or black and white. No longer
limited but filled with options. I don't find myself praying as much
anymore either. Did I get it? Will they wreck it? Now I spend more time
shooting, working on composition and studying the light. Oh, and perfecting
my final images while drinking scotch and eating sushi.
